Re: Linktoria: The athletic country (AIN)
WACKY, READ THIS TO THE END
Try to do Powerpoint.... you said to me you had it.... a tutorial if you need help doing this:
http://simmania.darkbb.info/t195-how-to-use-microsoft-powerpoint-to-add-text-to-an-image-without-losing-the-image-quality
But PLEASE! This is simply disgraceful; how often we have asked for you and you have said "I will"? Storytime... I got feedback in my first journal about how much of a piece of absolute crap it was, I went from this (clicky) to this (clicky) in a little more than a week (let me tell you, that list keeps going today, and beyond). Now, I don't mean to say that gloatingly, or this, but I did win the trixie for most improvement this year. I'm totally honest when I say that award is not out of reach for you! At the absolute least, have an AIN member help you, or have me help you at my Simmania workshop, do something! I'm sure anybody who you ask could lend you a hand, or teach you how to do it. I am not alone when I say you could have a great journal (and a possible simlympic host?) on your hands if you listened and performed, which is something we are all especially waiting for you to do, and have been for almost a year now.
(BTW, I am available on Skype from time to time too, the name is "k50dude")

Re: Linktoria: The athletic country (AIN)
wacky I'd take K50 up on his offer as I've said time and time again you have some potential there but you need to really take the advice in I'd strongly urge you to ask your father about GIMP a good selling point is that it will help you in the long run as you could learn about graphic design and the likes it could be sold as an educational tool as well as a hobby.
Re: Linktoria: The athletic country (AIN)
Yes, k50 is very good at the fine art of image manipulation. I use PAINT.net, a small, free version of Photoshop and it works easily and fantastic. Its so easy, a 13-year old could use it (I am 13... )!

Yeah, with powerpoint, lets see what my dad thinks about GIMP.
Re: Linktoria: The athletic country (AIN)
*Please* do not confuse those bricks that NASCAR calls Daytona Prototypes for GT cars. Its an affront to the real GT cars and LM Prototypes running in the ALMS and other proper sports car series.

Re: Linktoria: The athletic country (AIN)
Wacky, no offense but seriously you couldn't have delved into your brain a little bit and come up with some creative names instead of ripping off real NASCAR drivers.... it makes this whole event seem really even more tacky than it's already been

Re: Linktoria: The athletic country (AIN)
If you don't want anymore criticism than maybe try actually getting better. Maybe wait until you get GIMP or whatever until your next update. Seriously...

or show an in game picture with snow on the ground (and declare a small snow delay) and then post pictures with nice green grass on a sunny day, and then rain all in the same post...
attention to detail is important; it's the difference between a CJ worth reading and a CJ worth passing over
