about the host country | Чиро 2010
The Qhiro 2010 Games has been working with Walt Disney Theme Park Design Committee, because they know all about making dreams come true. We have been able to create a paradise utopia as our Simlympic Park. Spectators can walk to and from venues feeling like they are in paradise, with luscious gardens, fountains and as many palm trees as the eye could see! They will also be helping make part of the visual of the Opening Ceremony.
Our visitors will arrive in Chihiro via the Chihiro International Airport in Ordona(a suburb five minutes from Chihiro)
Simlympic Venues
Transportation
Making your way through the Petrovan capital is a breeze with the abundant choices our guests have. There are shuttles, buses, taxis, private drivers, metro and rail. As of January 2010, 75% of all traffic lights within the Capital Belt have Petrovan and English signs, and 20% with French signs(all the Simlympic routes).
Attractions and Entertainment
There’s definitely a lot to do here at Petrova, especially at the capital! Here’s just some of the many places you can go and things you can do while in the Petrovan Capital!
Security
The Qhiro 2010 Games will be spending 20 million on security, with over 20,000 cameras all over the simlympic venues and important places of the city. The police force has been tripled around the capital belt. There will be teams of secret agents to protect every heads of states and leaders attending the games. Punishment for committing a crime related to the games will be to the highest extent.
Opening Ceremony and Official Broadcaster
The games will be commencing with the opening ceremony on Monday, August 16, 2010. The opening ceremony will be featuring a wide display and parade of Petrovar culture and the celebration of the simlympic games. The official broadcaster of the games will be AINTv and AINTv Sports, however, numerous national broadcasters of individual nations will be the sub-official broadcasters of the games.
The Games and Evening Festivities
Every day, specatators will be treated to various simlympic competitions of the world class athletes in world class venues in a world class city: Chihiro. There will be daily postcards featuring places all over the country with a different language every day saying "Hello! Welcome my friends to Chihiro. This is the ___ day of the games." There will also be a daily Petrovar word of the day. Some of the words are Russian, while some are Petrovar.
Every night, there is always something going on, whether it be a concert from the world's famous singers, a cookout at the beaches, the Miss Universe 2010 swimsuit/national costume parade or an extravagant fireworks show at the International Village Lake.

Very nice report. I've known Petrova through a lot of your various activities, but this was a great summary with some awesome graphics (especially those nifty maps). Ithin it's great to get to know another sim-country through the simlympics. Excellent job!
