Re: qhiro 2010 | closing ceremony
Games of the XIII Simlympiad Closing Ceremony brought to you in true HD courtesy of AINTv. Commentary provided by Andrei von Stoven, correspondent for “Komostavos, Petrova!” and Gizem Ximena Poslavska, Miss Petrova 2008.
Andrei: It’s a perfect night for what this country has in store.
Gizem: It’s really sad that the games are coming to an end here tonight, but of course, the Petrovars aren’t going to leave us empty handed.
Andrei: That’s right, to keep up with the theme of “where the difference is the experience”, the closing ceremony will be done much differently from the past closing ceremonies. This country is known as the entertainment host of Eastern Europe and the Petrovars are definitely going to show that again once more. Petrova is all about being on top and making sure that these games really are memorable. The countdown is about to start.
Gizem: This ceremony will be quite different from the opening ceremony. This will not be a traditional closing ceremony and as Andrei said, it will be very different from the past closing of the previous simlympics. You will see what we're talking about later on in the show.
Andrei: The Petrovars have worked hard to provide one of the best Simlympics ever. And we're not being biased at all! Statistics and the crowds from the past 16 days confirm this. The opening ceremony alone reached over 2,000 views in Simsports, with over 40 replies: more views and replies than any other Simlympic Opening Ceremony in the past four years. The opening ceremony even surpassed the current titleholder for the most viewed ceremony, Penthesili, Dimland at 800 views. The bars have definitely been raised for the next Simlympics!
Gizem: Funny story actually, on the third day of the games, the bandwidth of the pictures maxed out due to the exceeded views by about 670% and for about four hours, AINTv was unavailable, meaning all of the pictures and results were unavailable. Well, the stadium is now dark and quite. What you are seeing is actually dust particles. Where? You’ll find out!
Andrei: That’s right Gizem, the stadium floor is flooded with water! For the opening ceremony there was fire, now to cool things off, there’s water in the heart of these Simlympic Games for the closing ceremony.
Gizem: We now see the Simlympic Rings symbolizing what kept all our athletes together.
Andrei: And here comes the countdown!

Re: qhiro 2010 | closing ceremony
Dame i gospodo, Vaše visočanstvo, kraljica Zivanna Ivanka Petrove.
Mesdames et Messieurs, Votre Altesse, Ivanka Zivanna reine de Petrova.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR HIGHNESS, QUEEN ZIVANNA IVANKA OF PETROVA.
Well, there are no words to explain just how much we are thankful for this opportunity. Over the past 16 days, Chihiro is thankful for the honor of hosting these games and of course thank you to the support of the people that came to watch the events. On behalf of Chihiro 2010, I would like to thank each and everyone that has replied to the Simlympic events, whether it be once or everyday! This will be the last event Petrova will be hosting and participating in, at the SimCity world. It has been a pleasure to have the world here and we hope that you all visit us again…..just not all at once! We are glad to be a part of the Simlympic Movement and hope that these games were just as memorable to you as they are to us! Farewell, world!
Dame i gospodo, predsjednik Međunarodnog odbora Cilempiqke, predsjednika Slacker.
Mesdames et Messieurs, le Président du Comité International Simlympique, Président Slacker.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, THE PRESIDENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL SIMLYMPIC COMMITTEE, PRESIDENT SLACKER.
I declare the Games of the XIII Simlympiad closed.
Gizem: The Simlympic Hymn will be sung in Petrovar, which is different from tradition as the past Simlympic Hymns have been sung in either English or French.
Re: qhiro 2010 | closing ceremony
Joao: Fantastic speeches by the Queen of Petrova and the President of the ISC!
Jenifer: Now hold on! With all due respect to President Slacker, just because the games are officially over, that doesn't mean that the closing ceremony is over! Oh no we aren't!
Joao: Amen! While the host for the next simlympics won't be announced until a couple of months, we're going to give you a small taste of what to expect in the next simlympics.
Jenifer: That's right Joao! After these games, I am sure that there will be a lot of countries that will want to host the 2010 and 2011 Simlympic Games. Now let's get to know each and some of them just a little bit better, starting with....
Andrei: Just a note to the audience and everyone, the following countries have been selected randomly and some of these countries may or may not go on to bid for the next games. These randomly chosen cities are in now way officially endorsed by Chihiro 2010.
Yendi: We are a proud nation and I think that we are ready to show the world what we are capable of! So watch out world, Liberators City is coming to amaze you!
Rozanna: Val d'Or is just an amazing country. The spirit of the people, and the city, we are really going to give our competitors a run for their money!
Ximena: Stone Republic is definitely a great candidate to host the simlympics! We have our venues ready and I think that we will be prepared to bid for the games!
Joao: There, you just witnessed just a few of the many bidding nations in the coming simlympic games, up close and personal! Will your country host the next simlympics?
Jenifer: When we come back is the finale of the closing ceremony: the extinguishing of the torch!
