Welcome to SimSports, L30!
Well, I believe you can bid with real cities, but Seattle and San Francisco aren't wise choices. The Seattle area doesn't have enough capacity to hold a winter Simlympics or Olympics by itself and neither can San Francisco due to lack of space in the mountains.

Thanks i mean ill be making a kinda similar region like seattle. ya san francisco isnt good but i think seattle is a very wise choice. Vancouver BC is like its twin but canadian lol u live in washington you should know that Seattle has lots of mountains rivers etc. but my concern is the swimming lol

Re: Seattle 2011 in the works
not bad but which games are you aiming for?
Remember we have a Winter Games and a Summer Games.
as to swimming events they are held indoors at an aquatic centre usually
as to bidding you may want to check these out to help you understand what you'll need

Or...you can use PrtScr (Printscreen) button and paste into your image editor (Paint, Paint.net, GIMP, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, Photoscape, Ifranview, etc.)
