Dual City Simlympiad Empty Dual City Simlympiad

Post by mystic.destiny Fri Feb 24, 2012 10:32 pm

I would like to be bidding for the next Simlympic event but I would like to know whether I can have two cities that are hosting the event in a different country? However there is going to be a main city that will host the opening, closing and most of the events.

Thanks,
MD

If they're close, I can't see why not, Seattle USA and Vancouver Canada have thought about doing something like that in the future.

But of course I'd wait for a reply from Joe or Canuck about this one because I don't know 100% Smile

I've asked the question before. If they're in the same region it's possible, within close proximity (like in RL if St Paul and Minneapolis did a bid or Seattle and Vancouver) it's fine but there's a problem if they're much further apart.

There is nothing to say you can't do it, but as everyone else has said, you would need to have a very careful look at the logistical side of it first.

Should be about April I think if they happen. Simsports is pretty dead and the last ones only had one Bidder. I like the event but I can't help but be a bit pessimistic :\

Thanks for your optimism.

We've never had Simlympics that close together. Next Games are in June, bids open this weekend.
