Looks intresting! I think the logo could use a little work though, looks almost demonic!

Re: Portland 2013 | Sailing Towards Greatness
Announcing the Head of Planning and Organization:
Miss Alina Schoubeert
(3-time world champion in Rowing women's single sculls, 1 Simlympic Gold, 10-time Nationwide Champion)
She'll be organizing the Bid and will be head of planning commission. It is an absolute honour for her to do her best to get the games to Portland.
Adding to that, Portland's Excelsior Arena is being built now. Construction began 2 days ago and the stadium will be seating 85,450 people. If the Bid is granted, it will be serving as Portland's Simlympic Stadium and will host the athletic competitions. The Stadium is located in the Portland's suburban community Nanaimo. If Portland is not granted the rights to host the simlympics, we will go for it again. haha
Meanwhile, Portland's Hammerey Airfield is being modernized to welcome up to 32 million people a year from all over the world. The airport is connected directly to Portland Downtown by Subway or by ExpressBus, Nanaimo is on the way, with an own subway stop. Portland's old subway cars (Tatra T4D) are slowly being replaced by newer Bombardier FLEXITY cars. However, this will take another few years, so you'll be seeing T4Ds in Portland. haha.

Re: Portland 2013 | Sailing Towards Greatness
Construction is completed on Portland's main Aquatics Centre, the Rowing Lake is done as well. Portland's main Athletic stadium however still needs a bit of time to be done.
At the moment, Portland seems like a giant construction site. The basically only thing not being worked on in the moment is the Central Station. Even the airport gets another Concourse. The Portland Metro System is in a constant modernization process and will be able to transport all the tourists to their events. All event sites are close to transit stations or hubs and are also connected by Express Busses from the Airport or the Central Station.
Tourists arriving by cruise Ship have a slightly difficult approach into Portland, as there is no cruise ship port built yet and frankly there are not many plans to do something about it. Cruise ship passengers would be arriving in Wyswater or Manchester, and then would have to travel by either CityExpress (HSR) or car to Portland.
The Spirit has already arrived in Portland though, a survey recently showed that 89% of the population would support Portland's Bid.
