Everything is fantastic ! I think it's the greatest bidding session ever, so hard to choose a winner !

Your Simlympic Park is nice but I think the venues need a bit of breathing room. If you widened everything out a little, filling it up with parks, I think this could be a fantastic bid

Re: Elionias, Georgiapolis - December 2008 Bid
It was my intention to have them close together.
You cannot expect sims to walk half-way across the city to get from one venue to the other in the same complex!!
This is something I really don't like about other Simlympic parks, they are far too large and unrealistic when you consider that sims walk through the complex, not drive.
Thanks for the suggestion though, it was a personal preference to keep it compact.

Really nice! I like how you made the OAKA stadium! Great job! But I agree with craig; the venues are VERY close to eachother...
(and yes, I am using Panathikaiko stadio for archery hope u dont mind!)

Love the logo and the city itself, though the actual park needs some work in my personal opinion. Too compact and lacks much cohesion.
Its incredibly rare to actually have that many venues within walking distance, and even if concentrated in the same park some more 'breathing space', as someone previous mentioned, would look better. London's Olympic Park is a good example of this.
Otherwise the city looks gorgeous.

Re: Elionias, Georgiapolis - December 2008 Bid
Georgiapolis International Airport is a 1 hour drive away from Elionias, located between Yiannopolis and Elionias and therefore serving both cities.
The airport can also be reached via the new high-speed rail line connecting the capital to the airport in less than 30 minutes.
The airport feautres two terminals, Terminal one being a modern structure and terminal 2 redeveloped several times and is still attached to its 1964 original structure.
When terminal 2 became too overcrowded, it was closed down for 18 months before planning provisions were approved for the construction of an extension, seen today as the concrete arm extending onto the tarmac and forming a T shape. The previous terminal façade and general structure was preserved and can be seen as the white building in front.
In 2007/8, the dated interior of the terminal was totally refurbished to modernise after Terminal 1 had been rebuilt and far more desirable to use. The result is a modern terminal with a historical face, one that the airport can be proud of.
Ionic is the national carrier of Georgiapolis, with GIA as its hub.
It is one of the most recognised brands of the AU, known for its excellence in business class travel. It is also one of the major sponsors of the bid.

Most impressive .
diz: I believe Yoder created some of the venues when he hosted, but it's still a brilliant aspect of Elionias' bid.
