Now, to the moment you've all been waiting for...

But first, before I announce the host of the 8th Simlympics (Wow, 8? How time flies...). I'd like to take a moment to thank every single bidder. I know I speak for the entire ISC when I see tonight's decision was by far the most difficult we've ever had to make. The standard for bids has well and truely been set this time around, so I'd like to personally thank all of you who have submitted a bid to host the December Simlympics. As you know, only one bid can be victorious... but I hope no one will be disheartened or angered by the result, and I sincerely hope that you've enjoyed the experience and had a lot of fun .

Now, without further adieu. It is my pleasure to announce that the games of the seventh Simlympiad will be hosted by the city of....
