Euro 2008!

Not sure how much coverage this gets in America, but it's a huge event over here in Europe (Although, sadly England didn't qualify this time round ).

All the group stage matches are finished now and the quarter finals begin soon. All 4 matches look great, should be some good football . I think it'll be a Holland vs Portugal final, with Holland nabbing it - they've been amazing so far.

Actually it's pretty big here in the States with the Soccer(sorry) Fans and ESPN covers it in the US and in Canada they Cover it on TSN and Sportsnet(never thought I;d see those 2 channels work together like that)

as for me following it my Teams(minus one that I sorta like) are out of it so I dunno I think I'm pulling for the Orange Crush there

Anyone watch the Portugal vs Germany game? That was a shock, was expecting Portugal to win that one. I only saw the first half though, had to watch Heroes .

lol well Germany got lucky with a push while fighting for the ball in the Portugal end that ush ended up giving (can't rember who it was) the room he needed to head it in and put the Germans up 3-2

Think Ballack got Germany's third. Portugal's defending was pretty bad though, especially against set pieces.

Anyone watch the Crotia/Turkey tilt? holy **** what an amazing game goal #1 of the game at the 118th minute and the tieing goal at the 121minute mark then PK's which Turkey winning it and in the other view Croatia's inability to finish really hurt them they missed what 2 of the 4 PK's and had one stoped not to mention the 4 or 5 earlier in the game that they shoulda put away

Yeah, it was incredible! First 118 minutes... not so good, but damn after that it was amazing. Turkey seem to play better when they're behind, must motivate them. They've only been in front for only 2 minutes for the entire tournament so far!
