Aslow is the 4th largest city in Novland (506,400) and has been rated 5 years in a row the best city to live in. The Region is covered by mountain ranges. The city was founded in 1749 and is filled with famous historic sites. The city is also Known for being at the cutting edge of technology having an extreamly modern Metro System opened last year.

VENUES

The opening and closing ceremony will be held in the Simlympic Stadion (80,000). Built in 1999 it is a primer venue and one of the best stadiums in all of Novland. It is serviced by the Red Line in the Metro system. It is located directly downtown and is close to all 5 star hotels on the city.


Hockey will be held in the famous O2 Arena (17,800). Home of the Aslow O2 hockey franchise it is a architectural marvel. Built in 2002 it is directly across from Simlympic Stadion and close to many hotels.


Speed Skating will be held in the Aslow Oval (9,450). Built in 1997 it is a truly beautiful structure and is also very close to Simlympic Stadion. It is connected to Simlympic Stadion by the Simlympic parkway.


Figure Skating and Short track speed Skating will be held at the Statoil center (12,500).


Curling will be held at the Aslow Simlympic Curling center (4,000). Built in 2007 it is one of the most modern curling rinks in the world.


All broadcasting will be held at Novland Place. Directly on the waterfront overlooking lake Aslow it will be the perfect venue for broadcasting.


Most Athletes will stay at the Simlympic Athletic village. Located in the Simlympic park area it has a capacity of 5,000.


Aslow Central Stadium (11,300) will be the site of many cultural events.


Kailihammer

The village of Kailihammer tucked away inside the Traklat Mountains is 50KM from Aslow. With a population of 500 it is a very natural resort like area. It is connected to Aslow by the N-30 Highway and is about a 30min drive. Kailihammer will be host to all Ski and Snowboarding events.

Freestyle Ski-ing will be held at Uorkan Mountain.


Alpine Ski-ing and Snowboarding will be held at Martalk Mountain.


Ski Jumping, Nordic Combined, Biathalon and Cross Country will be held at the Kailihammer Ski park.

TRANSIT

Aslow is serviced by a 2 lined metro system. Aslow Metro was founded in 2008 and has 10 stations acrros the city.


Aslow international airport is the city's main airport. Seeing 10,000,000 passengers yearly the airport was completely renovated in 2003.




Aslow is also connected by Aslow central Station which connects the city to the rest of the country.


AMENITIES

Aslow is home to 5 5star hotels and 3 5star mountain resorts. Overall there are over 40 hotels in the area and over 120 combining Aslow and Austur (Austur is only a 30min train ride away). The city is filled with historic sites including St.Marks church build in 1860 and the Aslow citadel built in 1790. There are tuns of thing to do in the city like ski snowboarding and yes tuns of shopping.

Haha yeah i was thinking the same, There are a few really good bids out there.

I guess... but this one really jumped out at me the other ones are good dont get me wrong but this just jumped out as a clear front runner, but hey what do I know I got it wrong in August
