Ladies and Gentlemen Bienvenue I welcome you to the Lakeshore Region and the Beautiful city of Laval. For a third time the city of Laval bid for a games and for a third time we are welcoming the World to Rorysville's Frozen Shores. This achievement is much deserved for the City of Laval twice we all felt your pain as the bid fell through. I want to thank the ISC for selecting the city of Laval. As well I would like to thank President McNall and honour the memory of Jean Larouchelle for the work they did in getting this city into the gem it is. I would also like to thank all the volenteers who put in the time from taking the tickets to printing the programs everyone's work is appreciated. Now that we are here let's show the world what Laval and the Lakeshore region has to offer.

Thank you all now that we are here and the historic event of the first nation to host three simlympics is here I ask each of you to continue that proud tradition that makes these games great. And with that I would like to thank everyone who made this possible. Those who built the new venues, groomed the slopes, made the ice, and especially those of you who are here making it special now I ask the Governor General of Marceau Marquis Lafayette to come up and administer the oathes

Scott:What an honor for Éric as the captain and leading scorer for the Laval Capitals he is getting a chance to shine in his hometown as well.
