nope Rorysville is made up of 12 States and I did each state as a region independant of the other( a time consuming task I must admit) and have yet to take all 8 States for the mainland and 11 States for the Main Body(Lacroix Islands are far too far away to include)

This match featured 4 Yellow Cards and 1 Red Card with Marceau's Eduard being sent off for a brutal tackle in the box. The match also caused a near riot in the streets post game with supporters from both sides squaring off 10 were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Polaris Advances to Semi-Final #2 to face Douglas Islands at University Stadium. The Streets of Cork on Fairmount Hill and around the Grounds had to be closed as over 100K packed to watch the host in the Quarterfinals. RVAC Has Learned The Streets around University Stadium will be closed starting at 4pm also the Ballgame at North Shore Insurance Field has been moved from 3pm to 12pm to accomodate the Crowds the ballpark will also be open for GameCast.

Canuck, would you mind if I did a competition similar to this in my CJ? I'd just do the knockout stage which is only the semifinals, the finals and the third place match and maybe a few Qualifying matches (Double Round Robin format tourney goes all season, Spring- Early Fall but most teams are small countys and their matches don't matter. 56 have been played and 3 counties have won 51 of those so its rare that someone else wins one (65, 72, 86, 96 and 03:) I realize that its your idea so I wanted to ask first if I could do something similar We have 3 competitons but the other two are very unrelated.

ok here we go Semi-Finals and a very very large one to start them off. Some history and the intro as heard on RVAC's broadcast also the Semi-Finals were shown internationally on many networks.

RV v MR 5 simple letters but so much history and bloodshed in them. From wars on the Field to Wars in the Stands to Wars on the Earth these two states have litterly been at War. Whenever they meet some of the hardest fought action takes place. The 3rd meeting this year. Marceau took the first one 1-0 in the Challenege Shield Crossover Previews on July 1rst. Rorysvilel took the second meeting 2-1in extratime on August 5th in Shield Matchday 3. This time this one will send one team home and one team to the Finals. Let's see how these two have matched up.In the Finals themselves 8 times Shield IV in 1960 Marceau beat Rorysville 2-1.1972 in Shield VI
Rorysville would triumph 3-2 in extratime.1973 Shield VII Rorysville
would blank Marceau 1-0.Shield VIII in 1974 Roryville snaged Victory in
the final seconds of Extratime with a goal that is still called the
greatest goal in Shield History giving Rorysville a 3-2 come from behind
victory in extratime.in 1983 Shield XVII Marceau Upset a strong
Rorysville with a 2-0 victory.The two sides would not meet in the final
for 24 years when they met in Shield XLI in 2007 Rorysville would take
this one in extratime 1-0. Shield XLIII Rorysville would continue it's dominance with a 2-1 win in extra time.Last year the 2 met up 4 times on March 17th
at Rorysville's Celtic Field in front of 103 thousand fans Rorysville
won 1-0. On April 21rst at Marceau's Invasion Field 102 thousand plus
witnessesed Rorysville winning 2-1. And in a tune up for this years
Shield Rorysville and Marceau played to a scoreles draw at Nor-Tell
Stadium in Copper Harbour on July 1rst. Then on August 26th they met in the Shield Final with RV taking that one 2-1 in Extratime. This years Shield matchup caused Riots and sent some to the hospital and to jail as the fans got out of control.

Rorysville's Nelson Scored the Winner in the shootout. Send the Crowd into the night.And for a second straight meeting Fans clashed in teh streets as rioting broke out after the game 52 were arrested and 12 were taken to the hospital with minor injuries major shops along Palisades were looted and smashed. The President who was in attendance said "This is unfortunate that these hooligans wrecked what was truelya great sporting specticale" Govener General Lambert of Marceau said this"The Fans who did this are not real Marceau or Rorysville Supporters only true fans know how to behave these idiots are just people looking for trouble and they found it". Rorysville advances to it's 19th Shield Final. Adams's goal in teh 89th Minute set off seismometers all over the region as the stadium erupted.

The Host Team pulled off a stunning Upset of one of the arguably best state in the shield.An estimated crowd of 200k was packed outside the stadium to watch the game on video screens. in North Shore Insurance Field 42K packed the stadium to watch the game on Game-Cast on screens. After the Victory The already overpacked pubs on Kay Street unloaded onto Kay then Stadium Drive as the fan mingled with fans leaving some reports of Looting and burning of cruisers was reported on Delta Ave. Polaris makes it's first trip to the finals since 2001 when they defeated Marceau in Inverness. The upset also creates a rush for tickets as the host is a suprise team in the finals both teams are allotted 45K for their fans the other 13K are reserved for Shield Holders(People who bought tickets to all 17 matches as a package) as well as media,guests, and VIPs

The Final will take place tommorrow Sunday August 22nd 2010 from North Polaris's Polaris Energy Stadium Tickets for the game sold out in 15 minutes. The 44th Shield Final will take place at 8pm and will be carried by RVAC and MBC in Rorysville as well as many Nations have picked up the finals and semi-finals broadcasts. Novland for example broadcasts all 17 games on it's sports network.

some may have wondered why I didn't compete in the AIFF events this month and why the original bid for Polaris was changed well this Shield is why. The Challenege Shield has always been a big event in RV tommorrow's Final marks the 44th Time The Shield will be awarded.And as you can see it changes year to year with who's doing so well(with a couple exceptions,RV and Marceau are almost always in the shield(in Fact little known fact (unless you went back and read all the state bios from last year)Rorysville has never missed the shield it has always qualified))
