The top 3 Colleges in the Nation still survive the upset Saturday* As Bayshore handled Kingston easily, Canton survived a rivals push in double overtime and the Lake State dominated San Simeon.The biggest surprise of the night was #4 Ranked Marceau falling apart in the third period against RV State surrendering 4 goals in 5 minutes to lose 5-2. York's OT victory over #7 ranked Lawrence was a bit of a stunner but really when you consider York's Senior netminder Jhonny McDermondt's play. Of the 4 games on Sunday Canton v Laval will likely be the most exciting.Although the Rivalry of Bayshore v RV State is always in for some good hard hits.

Recap:Upset Saturday is a distant memory come Championship Sunday. Of teh four games only Lake State v York was filled with drama. Jhonny McDermondt continued his MVP like performance as he held York in tight against a very Strong Lake State Team. McDermondt only has the National Playoffs in front of him after being drafted by Autumn Ridge he is likely to join the Clarke County Cougars for their playoff run. The Marine Corps Academy made history as they won their first playoff title and having womn the regular season title for only their fourth time. The four Conference Champions as well as the remaining 16 other Schools looking for their chance at the National Title.

egd-That is the Calgary Saddledome I don't know where I got it I've had
it for years(talking back to at least 06) It's an Arena not a velodrome
and that is in that pic National Arena where the Military Conference
Championships were held.

In the other West Quarterfinal Kingston pulled off a great upset in overtime against Laval. The winning goal was scored by Jon Brown the younger brother of the RV Generals Star forward Mike Brown. Brown scored the goal at 18:55 of the OT period. The winner of Sunday's Semi-Final will take on Lake State in Campbellville at the Arsenal on April 17th.

Recap:Lawrence will play in it's first ever Regional Final on April 18th in RV City at the Bank of RV Centre against the Marines. Lawrence capped off a complete game dominating Plymouth on all fronts and controlling the play for the majority of the game.

Recap:Kingston continues it's cinderella run as it ousts Navy with it's second straight OT thriller.Kingston marks the third Super 8 Team to make the Regional final as they will face Lake State on April 17th at the Arsenal at Campbellville Arena. Jon Brown again was a hero as he scored the tying goal with just 15 seconds left in the game. Brown also set up the Game winner on a great pass to Victor Donaldson.

So I missed out on Wednesday Night Baseball but Sunday's have 2 Nationally televised games.
