Re: The introduction thread!
Hello All
I already introduced myself about 8 months ago then I never came back as I had other things to do within my private life and never got a chance to get back to simming. In between as well my Computer went balls up and it took me a few months to get a system that is good enough system worthy of playing Simcity 4 let alone other computer games.
Anyway I am once again interested in partaking in this vibrant community and wondering if there are vacancies for any sports to partake in? I am mainly looking to partake in American Football, Cricket, Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, Rally and F1.
Also I like helping out in regards to sim sporting games, I am willing to help out in some of the leagues if any help is required.
For the next few days I will be re-creating my island nation of New Windsor from what I can remember at the back of my memory, as for the last week I was upgrading all of my bats, downloading them all off my previous hard drive and extracting all of the files on to my plug-in folder and got the upgraded NAM and many other new files of STEX. Now I am only just looking for racing tracks (both horse and car) and Cricket Stadiums. I will try to place my CJ on here asap and give a story to my nation, it is an interesting one as New Windsor is a Constitutional Monarchy, being ran by the descendants of Hessians and Brittish Loyalists after they were defeated at the War of Independence. It was a gift for being loyal to King George.
But for now can i enter into sports?
Anyway look forward to interacting and taking part in the community :-)

Re: The introduction thread!
American Football-SFL is in it's Season
Cricket-I think there's still signups
Baseball-is entering it's Winter League Mode
Soccer-the SISL is done for now,and the SFIFA is still in the planning stages
Tennis-saw your signup
Rally and F1-both here and I think both still open for signups
and the SIIHF is always looking for new Member Nations but apparently hockey didn't make your list there

Tennis - Well I have signed up to it now
Rally - Signed up
F1 - Working progress, looking for a driver.
Cricket - Looks inactive
Baseball - Getting my head around the signup process
Ice Hockey - I am looking to sign up to STHL D2
On another note
SCAA - I want to join this except the only league that loooks active at this time is the Basketball. I was looking to enter a Ice Hockey, Gridiron, Soccer, Cross Country, Baseball and Track and Field teams. If help is required to help administer this I am willing to chuck my hat into the ring to help out, I know I am brand spanking new to this but I would like to see the SCAA get off the ground.

Re: The introduction thread!
with the SCAA you sign up and all sports go throught the year Ice Hockey usually starts around January if I remeber
and if you looking for hockey I strongly suggest the SIIHF for your National Team the SIIHF is in charge of the Winter Games Ice Hockey Tournament.

Thank you, both of you! Just one question. Where do I start? I see a bunch of threads, and I'm a little bit overwhelmed.

Re: The introduction thread!
well the best way is find out what sports are in season. For example my league the Simtropolis Lacrosse League is in the middle of its season... but is looking for people to host the all star game. Where as the Simtropolis Baseball League is in the middle of signing-up teams
Re: The introduction thread!
Welcome emgmod lol
For a start, go to SimSports news. Always good. So Simsports is a community of leagues of Sports such as Sim International Ice Hockey Federation, a hockey league where you can sign up Illu'a. Well for my part, I signed up in some leagues but some are already full or starten so you can't sign up, need to wait next season. Hope I helped.
I never introduce myself!
I came here in November 2009 because I heard about this on ST Chat. I was very impressionate about this community and I liked the idea. All the members here are fantastic and the website is very well organise, as I see, It look like AIN website. I am a AIN Full Member and proud of it, my fake nation is Lydosia. I'm from Montréal, Québec. I'm glad to be here!
Sincerly,

I'm Ethan, signed up to compete in the May simlympics, and I've been here since, just in the shadows. I think some people might already know me, I know Max does, but otherwise, not sure...
