I'm not a close fan of the WOG so not gonna post my personal POVs.

Wants for SOG

Any East Asian, South Asian or South East Asian cities.

Any USA or Europe cities (I think they hosted far too much already)
Any Thailand city (over 10 prime minister within a 25 years period? )

But once again, I may be bias. XD

Maybe it's just me but I would love to see a small US City get the games, like Buffalo NY, or Springfield MA, or Boise ID. Keep in mind how you guys say oh the US has had the games too many times, we've had LA, Atlanta, Salt Lake, and Lake Placid.... really only Salt Lake and Lake Placid fit that smaller city description but yet they had the winter games. There is no reason a city the size of Springfield, or Providence, or Boise or Virgina Beach couldn't host the games they have several university structures that are as big if not bigger than the venues that are built in the big cities and they have just as many entertainment values in and around the area. Because they're not already major hot spots traffic wouldn't be a total night mare and it would have more of a small town close atmosphere.

As for don't want, I don't want to see a country get it just because they're from an area that has never seen the games, sorry aranho. But if say Tokyo is the better bid between them and Rio then Tokyo should get the games it should go who ever has the best bid, not as some out reach program because such and such a place has never seen the games.

I don't like Sochi period, On the smaller US cities note the fact that none of those cities could even closely match up to a city like New York or San Fransisco would make it near impossible for even the USOC to pick it as a viable candidate, And then even if it made it passed that it would stand no chance against major world cities. Atlanta was a disaster because of several things in the planning, that's not to say that a small city like Boise or Buffalo could not do a good job. Particularly Buffalo could make a good bid if the USOC is willing to put up money to build the Bills a new, larger stadium to function as the Olympic stadium. Other than that, they have several good stadiums, a decent population despite not being the size of NYC.

I don't see what you have against Sochi......it's a decent bid

Sochi just docent seem existing to me, Just seems drab.

They also cut a few things after they were awarded the bid including the new arena and community arena were both stopped I just think in all if Russia they coulda chosen a better city for winter

I think Pyongchange would have been a better host, even Salzburg would have done a better job.

As much as I'd love to see that (with my ever-so-slightly biased opinion here ), its not going to happen. We simply don't have the necessary infrastructure to hold an event that size, and are never likely to need it outside of a games bid. Plus we'd also need someone of immeasurable wealth to fund it for us, because we don't have the necessary dosh either.

Besides the fact that it would have to be in the South Island (the North only has 3 skifields on 1 mountain, which just happens to be an active volcano), Auckland is pretty bland, and has its head up its ass. Aucklanders are notoriously apathetic about sports too. Take it to Christchurch or Dunedin, and have mountain sports in Queenstown.

I like the Cincinnati idea, along with Dallas, I disagree with Tokyo on the don't want, unfortunately everyone on your want for the winter will not see the games (except a possible appalchian candidate more spesific would be nice)

An appalaichan candidate would work.
Syracuse could work they could use Syracuse's Carrier Dome for hockey and opening and closing ceremonies.

What do you think about Chattanooga, Tennessee?

They could use the Carrier dome for just about anything, Chattanooga is interesting for a winter bid

Yeah Chattanooga is a very mountainus city and can use the Lookout Mountains for skiing and Snowboarding
Football Stadium for Speed skating and so forth

Anyways on Syracuse yeah your pretty much right but it would be a very nice place to bid.
