lol nice song choice!
In the picture right above the video, under the stadium, you are missing a texture dependency. I would go and find it if I were you :)

Re: Linktoria City May 2010: A small nation
a few tips to help you improve
when taking pictures let the game run don't leave it in pause your more likely to see traffic etc..
also when taking pics don't use the screenshot tool if your hitting print screen or whatever you are hitting as you can see the text from the screenshot tool personally I just hit ctrl+shift+s and then go from there
as to city/layouts just look at winning bids as well as some of the losing previous bids and you'll start to see what makes a city worthy of the games

Wacky, I would actually like to see your city. There seems to be a ton of stadiums and sport venues, and there isn't a problem with that, but I want to see your city as well. People can't live in stadiums :) I also will ditto Canuck on the taking pictures, you gotta get rid of the pause bar and the text. If you do that your bid will look a LOT better. :)

You badly need to develop the areas around the stadiums. Waste land never looks good.
And you also seem to have a very serious trash problem that urgently needs clearing up.

Re: Linktoria City May 2010: A small nation
LSC announced yesterday and have decided to push back til November, while Lake Newport bids for the ISC session and Febuary 2011 Winter Games.
Re: Linktoria City May 2010: A small nation
December, sure Linktoria is cold in winter, but who cares, its just simlympics.
Re: Linktoria City May 2010: A small nation
wait two months for the winter games then! Slacker said that once the BAT's are made he might squeeze in a winter games in Feburary anyway (plus if you don't go in December you don't have to go against a New Chandler which is pretty much the end of the rainy season in December, and the temperatures average in the low 90's )Wacky32 wrote:December, sure Linktoria is cold in winter, but who cares, its just simlympics.
