The airport of Penthesili is considered one of the largest and busiest worldwide. It serves about 65 million passengers every year with an annual 12 % growth. In order to cover the needs of upcoming years the government decided to expand this enormous airport. The first stage includes the new runway 10 (completed) and the new terminal 6 (under construction). The second stage include the new 5.5 km runway, the new technical base of ‘’Dimland airways’’ and a new exhibition center.

Somehow, the airport's current terminals reminds me of the Beijing City International Airport's Terminal 3 (aka the Dragon Terminal). XD

May I ask how you do your fireworks? Do you use brushes because if so where can i get them?

In order to solve Thermi’s traffic problems the ministry of public work start to construct a huge project south to the city.













First a 2.3km tunnel will connect the airport with the artificial island in the middle of the gulf.






















Then a bridge will connect ‘’Thessalonisi’’(the artificial island ) with the motorway E90.








Other projects related with the new ring road are:

New airport terminal
Expansion of the seaport
New exhibition- convention center
New marina
Recreation of south seaside area
