SimCity League Baseball 2011

Back for its fifth year, SimCity League Baseball gives your city the opportunity to host a Major League baseball team (or two) in your city, and to compete for the coveted World Series trophy!
In order to host a team, your metropolitan area must have a baseball stadium and at least 100,000 simizens, and to host a second team in the same city will require a population over 1 million.

Each prospective owner is limited to two SLB teams.

The season will run parallel with the real MLB season, from April to October, with the World Series scheduled for the end of October. The games will be simulated using the 'Out of the Park' (OOTP) baseball simulator, which will provide you with the statistical overload that baseball is known for (for a recap of the 2010 season, see the Official SLB website). Over the course of the next month or so I will be getting everything in place in terms of team logos, colours, divisions etc., so when you post your team details, please include all the necessary information as it is needed to set up the simulator.

All existing teams will need to reconfirm their place in the SLB.

If your team is new to the SLB Major Leagues, an overview picture of your city / stadium will be required to show you have the necessary population base (100,000 Sims minimum).

I signed up stone city for the current AAA season on ST, they're going upto the big boys club when that season starts...

i've got the downtown but, while i still have my cities on my machine, SC4 isn't installed and I don't have an overall picture...



Actual city, 80-90k, theres enough nearby tiles to call it 100k though. plus berryford about 20 miles away and Harbor city 15 from there and they add upto another 60-70k but are independent cities.

I forgot to say, Canmore Cubs and Algona Cardinals which to be in the same division. Obviously cause the rivalry. Algona Cardinals are the Algona Redbirds of last year. Glauchau Thunder is now the Freeport Mariners. Thanks Joe!
