SimCity League Baseball 2010

Back for its fourth year, SimCity League Baseball gives your city the opportunity to host a Major League baseball team (or two) in your city, and to compete for the coveted World Series trophy. In order to host a team, your metropolitan area must have a baseball stadium and at least 100,000 simizens, and to host a second team in the same city will require a population over 1 million.

This year each prospective owner will be limited to two SLB teams.

The season will run parallel with the real MLB season, from April to October, with the World Series scheduled for the end of October. The games will be simulated using the 'Out of the Park' (OOTP) baseball simulator, which will provide the statistical overload that baseball is known for (for a recap of the 2009 season, see the Official SLB website). Over the course of the next month or two I will be getting everything in place in terms of team logos, colours etc., so when you post your team details, please include all the necessary information as it is needed to set up the simulator.

All existing teams will need to reconfirm their place in the SLB. If your team is new to the SLB Major Leagues, an overview picture of your city / stadium will be required to show you have the necessary population base (100,000 Sims minimum).

Remember: 2 teams maximum this year!

Mayorm & Blakeway - can you be more specific than "North America"? There were 43 teams in North America last year! A state, province, or region (ie. New England) will do.

Mayorm - I already have a Sea Dogs team on my books, so if they reconfirm their place I'll have to get a new name off you. If they don't, "Sea Dogs" is yours.

well for the location my region is fictional, so where ever you want to put them is fine with me. just let me know for sure if the name sea dogs is taken.

I've got no idea where your city is!

I just need an idea of where in North America your city is, ie. a state/province or region. If its in a fictional place, then pick somewhere that is close by.
