Das'gotn 2012 | Experience the Dream
In this bid and as well as in the game we will try to accomplish a spread of the Simlympic culture farther than the English speaking realm of Simcity, as Shushtrepistaz will send its representatives all over the world spreading the excellence of the games ahead and cause a growth in viewership and possible involvement in future games. The bid will also bring you state of the art visuals as well as more in depth coverage of some game events.
This bid was proposed around June 2011, where it grew slowly into a full fledged bid, for the 2012 Summer Simlympics. What we have in store for you, is an audience experience like no other, tying into our motto "Experience the Dream". How will you experience our dream? The dream is everywhere in Das'gotn. from the mountians, to the suburbs, to our bustling downtown. When the games arrive, prepare to be amazed. We hope you have a safe and fun-filled tour of Das'gotn during this bidding process from now on Happy sailings!

Re: Das'gotn 2012 | Experience the Dream
I think we should first enter the subject of Shushtrepistaz, the nation located in the Pacific Ocean lies east of Japan, and north of Okatabawashi. The nation is filled with many experiences and adventures for all the visitors, as we plan on not just focusing on the city itself but everything in this beautiful nation. When you arrive in Shushtrepistaz, whether it is for the games or even before and after you will experience a wonderful array of tastes and sounds from this diverse nation. The nation prides itself on its agricultural heritage, as well as its modern economic prospects, in cities like Das'gotn and Czrik.
Shushtrepistaz is not only commercial sprawl, but is a cultural experience for many people, as when you visit you can immerse yourself in the values of the nation by heading to one of the temples (Remember to take your shoes off), and learn about history from visiting castle of feudalistic Shudonese time where you can read up on ancient scrolls and talk to historians at the location.
I think that's all we can say about the nation in general, but I think we can get into further detail once we talk about the city itself, I hope you have enjoyed this short bit of knowledge before we cast into deeper waters.

Re: Das'gotn 2012 | Experience the Dream
Das'gotn is located in the Kiybo region on the northern side of the main island Shudon. The Das'gotn-Klorang Metropolitan Area was formed in 1912 from the merger of the former Klorang-Akuri Metropolitan Area and the city of Das'gotn. The Das'gotn-Klorang Metropolitan Area administers the 42 special local districts of Das'gotn and Klorang (each governed as a subdistrict), and a minor district in Akuri. The population of the local districts is over 18 million people, with the total population of the area exceeding 25 million.
The area has the world's second largest metropolitan economy with a GDP of US$1.379 trillion at purchasing power parity in 2008, ahead of New York City, which ranks third on the list. The city hosts 21 of the Fortune Global 500 companies. Das'gotn has been described as one of the four "command centers" for the world economy, along with New York City, Tokyo and London. This city is considered an alpha+ world city, listed by the GaWC's 2008 inventory and ranked third among global cities by Foreign Policy's 2010 Global Cities Index.
There are many ways of getting into the city of Das'gotn, but for most international travelers, you would go through Das'gotn International Airport, where you would be greeted by top notch services for most fliers, especially Sylokash Airways, who will be the official flier for the games if brought to Das'gotn and would service the world through its partners with SkyTeam as well as its hundreds of destinations around the world.
[color=blue]Once you arrive in the city, you have many choices to travel, the most recommended is using a taxi, but if you want something for a cheaper budget or a much larger view of the normal citizens, try to use the subway, which has been one of the safest and cleanest in the world for 5 years. There is also a choice of renting cars from the airport services like Hertz and Kobein car rental services, but is less recommended due to higher costs for people who are there just to visit the games.
Feel like taking sometime in other cities? But don't want to spend a lot of money or drive, take the High Speed Railway that connects Das'gotn to most of the major cities as well as regional hot spots.
But just so you are prepared how bout I show you the city!
