Introducing the official Simlympic mascot, Ben
Ben has been chosen among hundreds of drawings sent by Barnanovese kids to the State of Benson Simlympic Comitee. What began as a classroom activity for kindergarden kids, ended up flooding the SBSC office, who decided to choose the mascot from the drawings the kids and their parents sent. The parents of the fortunate kid have recieved an unlimited pass for all events celebrated during the Winter Simlympics.
Ben has inmediately brought controversy to the Games, some people don't like him, others love him. The SBSC expects that, after the Simlympics, opinions will have changed, and it's going to be regarded as a symbol of Benson. His presence during the events is going to be a constant, we frequently see cases of mascots that have barely no appearances during Summer or Winter games, that's not going to be the case. Ben is here to stay.

Re: Introducing the official Simlympic mascot, Ben
Ben plush toys now available at the stores both in blue-gray or gray-blue versions!
- Spoiler:
- I really enjoy doing stuff for this Simlympics mascot. I was a little child when Barcelona 92 Olympics took place, and the mascot, Cobi, was inmensely popular among kids; he even had his own cartoon series. I had a Cobi toy during years after the Olympics, and photoediting Ben's pic has brought me very nice memories.

@Joe 90: Well, that would be funny!
@ggamus: When I said controversial I meant that there's always a lot of hype involving mascots, and they are usually critisized until people gets used to them. I imagine that Ben has been in the same situation. Perhaps I didn't choose the appropiate words in English when I presented Ben.
