now that the Winter Games are over let's visit a small town in Marceau
Acadie-Bathurst is just South of River City and East of Gaspe
the I-29 Bridge spanning the Rivere du Lemaire Nord
Fog tends to roll in thick during the late winter as the snow melts and warmer temps cause this phenominom as you can see it's still a bit cold in the air as the steam rises off all the buildings and the ice melts on the Rivere du Lemaire Nord.
Downtown Acadie-Bathurst the tallest structure is the Hotel du Frontinac
The downtown core has been rebuilt to it's old form and charm with plenty of Shops/cafe's/and bars the Old Arena still stands just on the edge of the Downtown core and is conviently a less than a block from the Hotel du Frontinac
the City of Acadie-Bathurst is home to
Bathurst Blasters(MRL AA Baseball)
Acadie Bathurst SV(Div II Soccer)
Acadie-Bathurst Grenadiers(Fleur de Lys Major Junior Hockey League)
Acadie-Bathurst Titans(RV National Junior Hockey League/LIH)

Re: Rorysville
that arena? umm well I found a 3d odel of it ages ago and I made some changes to it so you'd find it once you open up BAT and import it. I wasn't completly satisfied with my lotting of it in fact I may be adding to that lot with an EL Platform attached to the arena or a highway running along side it(much like GM Place in Vancouver)
Re: Rorysville
ok so in the Last issue of the RV Hockey Times We saw a story about the RVMJHL playoffs and the RVNJL I figured I'd better explain those leagues a bit to you all
The RVMJHL-Rorysville Major Junior Hockey League
the RVMJHL is a direct competitor to the College route into the Pro's it's made up of 3 seperate Leagues the CSJL(Central States Junior League),NSJHL(North States Junior League) and the LMJFL(Fluer de Lys Major Junior Hockey League). The 3 Leagues have their own seasons independant of the others(no crossover) and play 62 regular season games after the regular season all 3 hold best of 7 series playoffs with 8 teams making the playoffs per league the 3 League Champions and a Host Team then battle for the RVMJHL Championship in a single game elimination Tournament this years is being hosted by the River City Canal Rats and is at the Canalvision Centre in River City(home to the STHL's Otters)
the RVNJL-Rorysville National Junior League
This is the feeder system where all the top high school aged players play to either go to College(RVCHA DIV I-IV) or the RVMJHL the RVNJL is compromised of 11 Leagues from all over the Country the 11 Leagues play their seasons independant of the others each league Sends a set ammount of teams to the RVNJL Playoffs(probally one of the biggest Hockey Tournaments in RV) 32 Teams in total make the trip to Rorysville City for the Single game knock out tournament for Junior Hockey Glory.
the Leagues(size)-teams sent to Nationals
Core League(14 Teams)-4
South RV League(14 Teams)-4
Lakeshore League(12 Teams)-2
Marceau League(20 Teams)-3
La Ligue de Independant(12 Teams)-2
Northern League(18 Teams)-3
Iron League(16 Teams)-2
Coastal League(20 Teams)-3
Islands League(20 Teams)-3
Ste.Pierre League(12 Teams)-3
Lacroix League(12 Teams)-3
hope this helps explain the Junior Leagues in Rorysville
