NFL-Discussion
in the light of all things being started here how could we americans here on Simsports be without our NFL Discussion.
so for starters who's your team and what do you think of the upcomming season?
Mine=Pittsburgh Steelers(and I do love my hometown Losers(Lions) but seriously who admits that in public)

Re: NFL-Discussion
My team is the 49ers, because I like San Francisco .
I don't blame the packers for not taking back Favre, they wanted to rebuild and give the new guy a chance. It wouldn't really help his morale or development if he's told to take the back seat again. I hope they do well this season .

Re: NFL-Discussion
Go the Patriots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
New York only won that Superbowl out of sheer luck and when I say that I mean Tom Brady’s Injured ankle. If Brady was 150% on match day then the result would’ve been a different story, as they say in Boston “Nothing stops the Brady/Moss show”.

Re: NFL-Discussion
Well I gotta dissagree with Bindie... as an Eagles fan I hate the giants with a passion. But living in CT ive grown to dislike the Patriots pretty much as equal. Needless to say this years Superbowl sucked for me.
But as for who will win the bowl.
None of them,
Jets not strong enough to win the AFC even with Farve
Chargers are injury prone
Colts dont have the firepower to take out the Pats
Steelers are one dementional
Patriots can be beat, they've lost that invincibility to them
Giants have no defence any more
Saints are probably best of the list but Im not entirely sure
Seehawks also injury prone
Packers will finish dead last in the NFC (Behind the Falcons)
Cowboys are choke artists
SuperBowl
RedskinsvPatriots Redskins win
Here's why, the Skins prooved good in the always tough NFC East with the giants and eagles in efective they win the wild card birth v. probably Tampa which they should win and then they get a shot at the cowboys who will choke. That leaves them against either the 49ers or seahawks for the NFC which they should easily beat both. Patriots should roll v AFC but with no mental edge Redskins win

hmmmm very well put dljrfn2000
the way I picked those teams was with Athalon Sports Picks for Division Winners and Wild Card Teams(I threw in the Jets for fun).
Now besides my Steelers who are more than one dimensional they threw the ball alot last year and add Willie Parker you get a good balanced attack. I think the darkhorse team this year will be the Packers since most of the team is still together that went to the NFC Championship game and I think Rodgers will be a decent Quarterback as well

Re: NFL-Discussion
ok so week one is alomost over(just 2 more games on Monday Night)
and Brady is liely out for a long time and ESPN has gone into Brady Panic mode. The Colts lost their opener to da Bears and all the while The Steelers did exactly what I thought they would do and win(handily over the Texans)
so let the oh no my NFL/Fantasy season crying begin
