very nice K50 dude, where did you get the Orange roofed apartments and the green roofed white ones? Not to steal your idea or anything but I'd like to use them at the University I'm building now in San Siro

no Razz but if you use the buildingplop cheat (you have to download it from Simtropolis) they are conveniently located at the bottom of the menu Smile

Its probably just been awhile but whats the differece between that and "lotplop"? I use both alot for stuff... like when I don't want to scroll through my massive parks menu so I just goto the 1x1 grass lot (for waterbridge) Razz This isn't a newbie question, simply an epically failing question Razz

On the left side it's "0x565f2232" and on the right it's nothing. I only have 2.5GB of plugins, you might have more, but for me it is the very last one on the list.

New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19header

It's time to ride the New Chandler Metro for the first time in NC 2.0! Today we will ride the 8 line the entire "short" length. The 8 line goes from the Central Core up through Winchester. Every other line continues on about 8 more stations to Andersen.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19map

Here is a sign from the platform from our train. This particular line is the only one to have its own platform on the metro. Looks like we will have three minutes to sip on some coffee. This is a sign that hangs above the platform.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic10

And we are off!
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic1

The first station is Canal Avenue. This station intersects with the A line, a line that pretty much marks the boundary of the Central Core. On two sides, this one included, the line borders Raintree Canal.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic2

And now, THIS IS WHERE YOU SHOULD VOTE! What do you see looking good at this station? These crossroads are very popular and desirable, so think hard about it. The station will be named accordingly.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic3

This station is home of a popular parking garage. Schaffer Avenue goes from the Miracle Mile in La Brea clear out to Downtown Compton, a very good distance.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic4

The main bus station for Winchester isn't far from this station. This is the last station before we go underground into Downtown Winchester.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic5

South Winchester Station is a heavy rail and metro station, however, it is currently being bypassed and renovated. This is a proposal for a new station that will be built there (notice the wavy lights)
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic6

This park and ride station has most parking spots per train on the metro system. Four lines and thousands of spots in the garage make this an attractive parking spot.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic7

Just for fun, one of the signs in the lobby of the station.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic12

Now we see daylight again in a familiar sight, the University of Winchester. This station is on the east side of the quad.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic8

Well, our ride has ended for today. Holkom Park is another large parking garage station near Holkom Park, a beautiful park.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic9

And while we look back when we enter the green oasis shadowed by a few tall residential buildings nearby, we see another sign.
New Chandler III - Page 3 Ncup19pic11

Thanks for riding! Remember if you want to see the journey we went on again there is a map at the beginning of this entry.

If you ask me that area next to the unnamed station looks perfect for a park. Everything looks fantastic!

Very nice, K50. I think that the unnamed station should be next to a park, like cormiermax said. The park should be around a large fountain and maybe some courts for tennis. I'll call it...Schaffer Park Station!

Those are a holding place for trains that don't operate the late night shifts so that when rush hour comes they can start right at Central Core.

One of the biggest updates in the history of the New Chandler City Journal. No voting, no fancy stuff, just the city of Doherty.

New banner by the way now with subtitles Smile
New Chandler III - Page 3 9d050224

At the bottom of this picture are poor slums. At the top are rich homes. Driving one way and your car can get keyed. On the other there are college students in the latest fashions walking to White University (at the left of this picture)

A glimpse of Mount Doherty, a protected area, and the city below it.

The quad of White University. This particular school gives out more scholarships and financial aid than any other school in the country. It's a beautiful place to go to school and get away from the drugs and crime and poverty, and a place to meet with the rich kids and be happy.
