Re: Sim Sports League of Rugby (Weeks 1-3)
Hey everyone and tonight I'm bringing you the results from the the Second Round Play-Off, which means that tonight's winner will be going through to face the other 7 competitors in the race to win the supporters shield!
So, despite Rorysville being firm favourites in this game, Dawson managed to come out on top. However the game was even throughout, only really opening up in the last 10 minutes when Dawson pulled ahead after a scoring frenzy from the Blizzard's back line. So, with the teams for the second round decided, here are next Wednesdays games:
Western Marceau Magpies (1) Vs. Riverbourne City RFC (6)
RBV United (10) Vs. Kalama RFC (2)
RFC Airships (5) Vs. Linktoria City Lions (4)
Freeport Moose (9) Vs. Dawson Blizzard (8)
So those games will be played Wednesday night so join us then and also the weekly round up on Saturday where you can find out the latest scores and fixtures from the SSLR
Thanks For Reading!

Re: Sim Sports League of Rugby (Weeks 1-3)
Week 3 Round up
Another great and drmatic week within SimSports premium Rugby League. Th highlight of the week was a game between Rorysviille and Riverbourne. The highlanders were sure fire favourites, however Riverbourne have shown that they're no pushover and displayed this right from the beginning of the game, spending the first 10 minutes. However, a fumbled pass fell kindly for Rorysville who ran in the first try, despite Riverbourne having the dominant hand. The game quieted down until the second half, before it was blown right open when Riverbourne started brightly and used an enfatic passing play to level the scoreboard at 7-7. Then Riverbourne struck again in the 55th minute, with a sparking solo run from the City outside centre. The try was converted but only 6 minutes later, the Highlanders responded with a great team move and, before they knew it the scores were level. However Riverbourne were not disheartened and forced Rorysville to commit a knock on right in their own territoty. The penalty was scored to edge Riverbourne ahead and to let them win the game. We can now look at where that puts the two teams and everyone else in the table:
So the Magpies and Kalama keep their First and Second places, however Algona have snuck into third. Will they be able to keep this place. One also has to look at RFC Airships PF column. Despite sitting in Seventh place, they've scored an incredible 70 points already. Its obvious that they're problem isn't scoring, its stopping others from scoring. Sonic City RFC are also sitting in bottom place, yet to gain a point. Lets see if this can change with next weeks fixtures:
RBV United (9) Vs. Rorysville Highlanders (5)
Sonic City RFC (11) Vs. Dawson Blizzard (10)
Riverbourne City RFC (4) Vs. Kalama RFC (2)
Freeport Moose ( Vs. Algona Grizzlies (3)
Linktoria City Lions (6) Vs. RFC Airships (7)
So join us next week for those games and also the Supporters Shield Second Round, the quarter final!

Hello and welcome to the SSLR, in it's new location amongst the SimSports Rugby Federation which will be beginning shortly, allowing you to enter your teams into international competitions such as the World Cup and the Super Six. Meanwhile, today the Second Round of the Supporters Shield was played out; Here are the results
So, a big shock coming as league leaders Western Marceau fall to Riverbourne City in a close game over in Rorysville, though one might blame the busy April in the country in terms of sports as a contributing factor for their loss. ELsewhere there was little surprise, with the teams expected to triumph doing just that. The draw for the semi final has been made, and here it is:
Riverbourne City RFC (4) Vs. RFC Airships (7)
Kalama RFC (2) Vs. Dawson Blizzard (10)
And the odds for winning the trophy are already being released by the bookmakers:
Kalama RFC: 3-1
Riverbourne City RFC: 5-1
RFC Airships: 10-1
Dawson Blizzard: 17-1
Thanks for reading, stay tuned for those games and also Week 4 of the SSLR. Also, sign ups for the SSRF will be up and running in the next couple of days so watch out for those Also, with the police fearing trouble between Algona and Freeport fans the Twin Cities Classic has been moved to Friday where the police believe there is less chance of trouble.
