No it isn't...you only have to make coastal areas more geometric with the God-Mode's

Update: ISC Session Reaction.

Last night, thousands of Petrovars crowded the Grapotsch Palace to find out the results of the ISC Session in Illian, Paranor Island.



A couple of minutes later, after the suspense has gotten to the people that they couldn't wait any longer, the President of the ISC spoke.

President Slacker wrote:
Before I announce the host of the 8th Simlympics (Wow, 8? How time flies...). I'd like to take a moment to thank every single bidder. I know I speak for the entire ISC when I see tonight's decision was by far the most difficult we've ever had to make. The standard for bids has well and truely been set this time around, so I'd like to personally thank all of you who have submitted a bid to host the December Simlympics. As you know, only one bid can be victorious... but I hope no one will be disheartened or angered by the result, and I sincerely hope that you've enjoyed the experience and had a lot of fun.

He soon announced that the eight simlympiad is awarded to Ylmeria. The crowd was silent for a moment, but instead of showing their loss, they applauded and cheered on the winner.



The logo was shown one last time. Prince Matthias spoke to the International Television and the crowd at the Palace:

Prince Matthias wrote:Good evening ladies and gentlemen. As President Slacker had mentioned, it has been a really heated competition. We made a great run for it, but you know, Ylmeria had just beaten us to the curve. As with every loss, there's a strenght that grows and I announce a bid for the 2009 summer simlympics. We look forward to seeing another great simlympics this December. We congratulate the Shalman Empire peoples for a well deserved simlympics. Magandang Soirk sa lahask.

Today, the RNC(Royal News Company) spoke with the Prince and we sat down and asked him questions.

What was your reaction to the results?
To tell you the truth Juli, I wasn't surprised at all. I knew that Ylmeria had smashed the competition. Our city did a great job, but we just wasn't ready to host.

What's left for Chihiro?
Plenty. We still have to host the first Miss SimUniverse and the first World Pyro Simlympics. We also have already signed contracts with a lot of performers so the concerts are still on.

You mentioned Petrova is running for 2009. When, how, why?
That's true. I have talked with my father, we knew that Chihiro wouldn't make the cut, so we discussed a back plan. It has not been decided to as Chihiro or Brytyavska is running, but we have decided that we are going to run for the 10th simlympiad. We couldn't choose the 9th simply because we have a project called Project BRYTYAVSKA, and we can't reveal much, but it should be our centerpiece bid for the hopefully summer simlympics.

When is the Petrolympics?
It should be in the middle of November. We decided to have Grevershki host it.

Do you think Chihiro was a complete failure? And what will happen to the architects, and Speilberg?
No. We gave it all we got at the time, and we didn't complete Project BRYTYAVSKA in time for the bid, so I think that it was a bummer. As for Steven, well, we have disscussed that with him, he will be managing the Petrolympics, as well as other events in the near future.

What was one flaw that you think is in the bid, that could've altered the results last night?
Possibly, a much larger Complex. But we couldn't expand it anymore. Another thing was innovation. Although Petrova submitted one of the most detailed bids yet, that wasn't enough. I gotta admit, the Ylmeria's waterfall simlympic green was very innovative. We didn't really reveal much in the bid. So maybe we'll have better luck next summer.

World Pyro Simlympics

Show off your photoshopping skills! Along with the MissSimUniverse Competition, I will also bring the World Pyro Simlympics to Sim City. Basically, the WPS is a competition of the most prestigious fireworks companies from around the world. It began in the Philippines three years ago. Now about 20 countries competed in the WPO. Here is a more detailed explanation of the World Pyro Olympics.



Petrova will be the first host and anyone can bid to host the next WPS. First come, first served. The first WPS will begin on November 14 and end on the 22. Depending on the number of competitors, the dates might be changed in lenght.

Here's how to compete:
1. Fill out the form below. Anyone can join. The deadline is the 12th.
2. Once you joined, I will PM you a picture of the International Village and the Lanayru Beaches. For the third picture(optional), it can be from your city. Then, put fireworks in the three pictures to your heart's content.
3. When it is your day to show your fireworks, post it this CJ or your CJ and I will just copy it over here.
4. Since Chihiro is hosting, we are not going compete, but instead have a fireworks show at the end of the event. At the last day, (hopefully)Slacker, Cannuck, and all the other ISC members can PM me of which one they think is the best and I will announce the winner.

Hm, i'd love to participate in the Pyrotechnics thing, but i have loads of HW, i'll be in Athens for the 13th to get a Visa and then i have the preparations for the Simlympics cuz ill be away from the 7th-15th of December :/ Soz... What is it? Project Brytyavksa is a multi-billion dollar city project that will hopefully not only help the city to one day hosting the dream games, but to also boost the city's economy and tourism. Basically, it is the massive rebuilding of the city. Five new districts have been added. The airport has been moved to north of the city. The Olympic Complex has been rebuilt. Three new harbors has been added. The Minogue Park will be built between the Civic Centre, the Natiore District and the Downtown. The Royal Palace will be enlarged as well.

What's the cost? Its cost has been estimated to 500 Billion Petrovars (500 Billion dollars).

When will it be finished?It should be finished by summer 2009. As of now, only the seawalls have been finished with a cost of 14 billion alone on teraforming the coast.

Special Announcement at the Grapotsch Palace

We are live at the Grapotsch Palace where King Dmitry has spoken. He has addressed the country about the recent attacks in the world.


"My fellow citizens. I am here to report to you all another terrible attack. This time in Delkon Forest. The Coca Cola Convention Center has been bombed. Again, we suspect that the Paranor Island is targeted. We express our condolences and as we speak, a team of medical experts have been sent to Delkon Forest.

As a result of these recent attacks, I now call a lockdown of not only the city, but the country. All terms of transportation in and out of the country will be blocked. Airports will be shut down until further notice. There will be a curfew starting at 10:30. The Ambassador's Village, especially the Paranor Island will be shut down. The air will be heavily monitored by our airforce. All of this will take effect in two hours. Please, if you must, leave the country. All airports, highways leaving the country will close in two hours.

As for us, we will be leaving for Russia in a couple of minutes. The Prime Minister will be in charge until further notice. Project Brytyavksa will be suspended. All activities shall be postponed.

Please understand. Thank you and be safe."
