Re: Petrova
As you can see, our King Dmitry is very old, and in my opinion, needs to step down n let Prince Mathias take the crown. I think the King's developed a little alzheimer's and thinks that wikipedia is an actual place. But he doesnt know that he can sue wikipedia. But of course it's better he doesnt know this because we have so much going on, from the deadly blizzard in Northern Petrova, to elections of the new Prime Minister to the simlympic bid, we have so much on our hands that we can't possibly have time to go to court with wikipedia.
Re: Petrova
Hah, maybe in the future you could sue them? .

Mabuhay! Welcome back for another blog-isode of Destination: Petrova!
I apologize in advance for a not so great episode due to my tight schedule. I also apologize for the pictures of the since I can only post pictures before the city-wide renovation was done due to bidding purposes. The place looks now looks way better than this. But without further ado, I present you my country:
This week, we will be touring the famous and important Civic Complex. The Civic Complex is situated at the English Strait. The English Strait isn't in any way related to England. William English is the founder of the Chihiro-English River Valley, hence English Strait. The complex got its idea from most Western European capitals such as Paris, London, Madrid, and Berlin where most of the important government buildings are located in their respective bodies of rivers, in this case, a strait. There are only two entrances: the International Expy and the English Strait via the Chihiro Waterway Trans. Of course, there is an immense amount of security not only in land but at sea and air also.

Re: Petrova
(Intro in previous page)
Here's an areal view of the complex.
Here's the Biblioteq d'Qhiro. There is approx. 25 million books in the library. It has three buildings.
The city hall is in the middle. Of course today, the new city hall replaced the old one.
This is the Petrova National Musee. It contains not only Petrovan art, but artwork from around the world. There is also a full scale replica of the titanic inside.
(Counter clockwise from top:Chihiro National Performing Arts Pavillion, Naridah Petravo Convention, and the Georgio Sergei Petravo Memorial) The memorial contains the coffin of the founder of Petrova, Georgio Sergei.
Here is the famous Crossroads of Qhiro. This is the main entrance of the civic complex as well as the olympic complex. The athletistadium overlooks the Civic Complex.
(From left to right: Dept. of Bureaucracy, Dept. of Justice & the Dept. of Engineering & Construction)
This is the famous Qhiro International Building. It is similar to the capitol in Washington D.C, except this is where everything government located is done. This is where the ambassadors from around the world meet. If you don't mind, please fill out a foreign embassy form in the next post if you would like to have an embassy here in Chihiro. Thank you!
And here are some more pictures:

Re: Petrova
Ok, well since I promised you guys that I would post up pictures of the Ambassador's Village, here it is:
Here's blog-isode 2.5 of Destination: Petrova. Today I will be showing you the Ambassador's Village. It is located in the neighboring north of Chihiro, Grevershki. The city itself has been newly established, a year ago. As you can already see, like most Eastern European cities, Chihiro isn't much of a metropolis, just a huge city. But it is growing and more and more suburbs are growing in the Capital Beltway. Grevershki will also be the sight of the new Simlympic Park if Chihiro wins.
The Ambassador's Village will be home to numerous embassies and condos/hotels for the ambassadors. The Village is right next to the beaches, so it will be a great attraction. So far SimFrance, SimGermany, SimKosovo, SimCanada, Dimland and Rorysville have embassies in the village. There about fifteen embassies left. The flags will also be placed in the embassies soon.
Don't forget to watch next week, as I show you the city of Avenida Vista, and the famous Gourmandy Centre in Chihiro. Osige!

Re: Petrova
Komost! Welcome back for another blogisode of Destination: Petrova. Today, I will be showing you the city of Avenida Vista which is about 40 miles SW of Chihiro, as well as the Gourmandy of Chihiro.
(Avenida Vista is my second city that I've done. It hasn't been finished, and I stopped working on it because of the Capital Beltway. Note: The Capital Beltway is Metro Chihiro. I like to look at Avenida Vista and see how much my skill have progressed. I occasionally work on the city, but rarely. THe city will also be undergoing a city-wide renovation for the Simlympic bid.)
Founded in 1940, Avenida Vista is a thriving economic port in Petrova. Located in SW Petrova, the city served as the country's capital from 1940-1970. Today, there are a total of 400,000 inhabitants. However, the city's downtown is twice as big than its residential capacity since the downtown serves both Avenida Vista and neighboring twin city Predeccia (Pop: 500,000). According to most historians Avenida Vista worked as a foundation and a role model to Chihiro.
Here is a typical Avenista residential landscape.
The historic Government Corridor is home to historic buildings that were used when the city was the capital. Today, only half are used for the government, and the rest as museums.
Here is Downtown Avenida Vista with approx. 100 skyscrapers.
The BBC Headquarters is located in Avenida Vista. The BBC is Chihiro's largest cable network.
The Space Needles of Petrova is also located in Avenida Vista. The buildings on the center-right is the Avenida Vista Business Park.
Here is the famous Island Stadium of Avenida Vista.
Now I take you the capital city to the famous Gourmandy. Located at the heart of the city, the Gourmandy is among the largest outdoor shopping centers in Europe. There are approx. 400 shops in the Gourmandy. It recently was renovated to look like medieval styled buildings.
Petrovan of the week.
This week I will be teaching you how to say numbers!!
one-una
two-deo(de-yo)
three-tryi(tree-yeh)
four-cuat(cu-wat)
five-cink(sink)
six-siq(sish)
seven-sietr(syet-er)
eight-ocho
nine-wanuf
ten-diq(dish)
Grammar/Language Insight of the week:
"Q" in is like "cc" in Italian, and is usually pronounced as "ch"
Culture 101:
Manners is everything in Petrovan society. Showing bad manners is usually a sign that you are poor. The wealthy even have their children attend private etiquette classes.
Thank you for watching another blogisode of Destination: Petrova. Stay tuned next week as Destination: Petrova takes you to the International Village. Salamat and Osige from the Petrovan Ambassador.
