Well since last week's Destination: Petrova wasn't that great, I'll make it up to you guys by treating you guys to a concert that happened recently in Chihiro. We Petrovars love our concerts and we have one every month. This month's performance was R.B.D, aka rebelde, which is a famous Mexican band. It was held in the famous Grande Amphitheater.



The concert was opened by this year's Miss Petrova (Zana Krasniqi, Kosovar). Chihiro will also be hosting Miss SimUniverse 2008 in December.


Here is the opening, with Carinio Mio.

Here is their famous song, Wanna Play.

And it all ended with a five minute display of breath-taking fireworks.

Here are some pictures of the fireworks display at the concert. (This is also my expirements, so please tell me what you think of it.

The fireworks were syncronized to an instrumental version of Wanna Play, Money Money, and Carinio Mio.


And for the big finale started with hundreds of white sparks being launched into the sky.
Then a huge explosion of fireworks lit up the clear Chihiro sky.

The exlopsion left three letters. And the crowd cheered.

I like them , especially the first picture of the second post. I really like the curved effect, and the kinda explosion in the middle.

Looks like a great concert to have been at!

thanks mitsos and slacker! i agree, i like the first pic too, but, I must report that a few people have reported to have been slightly blinded after the concert, so heads up to people who are going to use that exploding tower firework lol.

I am posting the new blogisode of Destination: Petrova and I understand that some people have a slow internet connection or that the page loads really slow. Komost! Welcome back for another blogisode of Destination: Petrova. Today we will be visiting heart of Chihiro to see the International Village. As of now, the International Village is being debated in the Ministry of Recreation whether the name should be changed or not.

The International Village was inspired by Disney World's Epcot. Epcot is a theme park that showcases a couple countries around the world. In the International Village there are four main areas to represent the four corners of the world: the Americas, Europe, Asia and Africa.

The International Village was founded by the Princess Catharina, which is King Dmitry's sister. It now is a major tourist attraction and according to the Ministry of Recreation, over 20 million tourists visit the Village. The International Village is free to anyone. It is home to over 400 shops, 160 apartments and more than 20 replicas of well known landmarks that are used for museums. The four areas are easily distinguishable with their unique scents and flora in each area. For example, if you go to Asia, you will see pagodas, Tokyo syled buildings, Japanese maple trees, Chinese restaurants, Indian clothing stores and more.

Every night, the Touer de Mondi(Tower of the World), puts on a ten minute fireworks show.

Culture 101.
Meatcake is a traditional Petrovar dish. It is eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It can be made simple, or very complicated in five-star restaurants. It is like a pancake ommelette waffle.

Yup, It was fun making the Village, though it was kinda a pain to search for some buildings. To create in Petrovan is "crear" lol.

I was doing maps for the bid, and I remembered I have to post the map of Petrova. So from the front page, here is the map of Petrova.

Tregoviste-Bucharesti , Oradea ? LOL Romanian city names(Targoviste, Bucuresti, Oradea)

Petrova does have a huge Romanian population. I was watching a show on the travel channel and I heard about those cities, and it sounded interesting, so you guessed it right. Hope you dont mind if Petrovan cities are named after Romanian cities.

Romanian was a Latin language too

"Bovino" is derived fromPetrovan Bucv meaning cow(you were right ) and Petrovan Vino meaning pasture. Bovino is actually a boring farm town.

I have so much homework that I forgot about Destination: Petrova! Ach! I will probably post the blogisode tomorrow or possibly next week lol. But I will probably just post it next week and do a "behind the bid" special since I will post Chihiro's bid Sunday.
