Re: SimCity League Baseball 2010
I've already PMed you, but Nyhaven is definitely here to stay. The population is up to about 3 million, but everything else (incl. the logo) is the same as in previous seasons.

Re: SimCity League Baseball 2010
Lovely job - Belfast! It is good to see that intensive pre-season training program paid off - despite Ortíz's injury...
Re: SimCity League Baseball 2010
Good start for Belfont, and a dreadful defeat for Clarvant, but, still, it's just the beginning

So Hypertrophy Ravens may have lost on the opening day and manage to make a few wins, and take losses. But right now it's too early and I'm hoping that the Ravens will make the playoffs.

The Sunday Wrap:
At the age of 32, Alex Sykes might have some potential he hasn't realised yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Luxembourg second baseman racked up 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs and 8 RBIs in 6 games last week, collecting the Roberto Clemente League Player of the Week Award.
Ramón Bido, known affectionately as "the old man" by the younger players in the Bishops clubhouse, showed his teammates how to do it last week - and in the process the 38-year-old vet beat out all competition for the Jackie Robinson League Player of the Week Award. He put up a .542 batting average, 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 4 home runs and 10 RBIs. Bido also scored 10 runs.
The Luxembourg Rivercats finally lost a game this week. In fact they lost two, but still lead the majors with a 15-2 mark. Canmore lead the JRL with a 13-4 record, a start matched by the North Brabant Bandits.

I have to say, I'm quite satisfied with how the Regals are faring this season. 11-6 is much better than usual for any Nyhaven team. Let's hope things keep going well
